Gareth
Lyle News:
Gareth
Lyle shot us a mail to let us know what he has been
up to. Some of you will know that Gareth and Tyrone
were the first two guys to ride for us. Gareth took
a little lime off a few years back to focus on his
band but has recently started riding again. For those
of you who weren't around 4 or 5 years back here are
some pics of Gareth off of our old site.

Peg
stall at Thrashers in PTA.

Crazy
transfer at a PE comp.

OLD
SCHOOL pic of Gareth riding at the Woodstock 2 (I
think) KOD. I remember at this event Gareth did the
most insane transfer from one line to the other. It
was huge.
Anyway
Gareth has also been trying his hand at the MX thing
and sent us these snaps of himself hitting the jumps
at base three. This was the first time hitting FMX
jumps and he says its a lot of fun.

We
are stoked to hear Gareth is back on his bike, and
if we are lucky we may see some pics of him shredding
the streets in the near future...
In
other news the Guys at We The People have put up some
dope wall papers for all of you to download. Head
on over to www.wethepeople.de
to check them out.

Back
Online:
We
are finally back online after our server locked us
down due to the huge amounts of traffic we got last
month. Seems all the updates and pics from the tour
blew our cap and we had to sit it out until the new
month rolled around. Well we are back up and running
so you can expect plenty of updates from here on out...
Firstly
the new Alienation stock has arrived and will start
shipping to stores this week. We have PBR rims in
black, Black Sheep rims in black, red, and blue, as
well as anklebiter rims in black, red, and blue. The
PBR and Black Sheep rims are your standard 20"
rims and are perfect for most riders. the Anklebiter's
are 1 1/8 and 1 3/8 rims and are specifically for
the racer kids. look for these to be in stores by
the end of the week.

The
other big news is that we have 2 new employees here
at Empire! We would like to welcome James Brawn and
Brad Illingworth to the family! Both these guys have
been working (and still do) in BMX retail for many
years and they will now also be working for us.

James
will now be our West Coast sales rep and will be calling
on all of our stores in the Cape Town area.

Brad
will be holding it down for us in the Gauteng province
and will be servicing our stores in those areas. We
are super stoked to have these guys onboard, and thanks
to them you will be seeing a lot more of our products
in stores around SA.
Thants
it for today. Check back for some fresh news next
week.
