On
the way:
We have a ton of new products on the way, so here is a quick
run down of what you can expect to find in your favourite
BMX store in the coming weeks. Firstly the new T1 goods are
expected any day now. Garrett frames, bars, and soft goods
are coming with this lot. You can see more pics and info on
these goods at the bottom of the page.

We
have a very limited number of Sunday frames on the way. We
are only expecting the shipment with bars, forks, and frames
to arrive later this year. However there are a few frames
on the way for those of you who would like to get your hands
on them sooner rather then later.

We
also have some new Sunday T's coming with the frames. These
are available in the colours show and will be in stores in
the coming weeks.

We
also have G-Sport rims coming in and these will be available
in Black, Chrome, and limited edition "Natural Gray".
These rims are the arguably the ultimate BMX rim, with superior
strength and feather light weight. Ribcage rims will be available
in 36 and 48 hole versions.

The
new Odyssey Mike Aitken seat is also on the way. These feature
the popular "Slim" shape but have been tweaked to
suit Mike's personal needs. They also feature a "retro"
style covering similar to that found on the seats of old muscle
cars.

Another
new addition to our lineup are the Junior Cassette wheels.
These are super light wheels built for young racers and will
be available in hard anodised black. The wheels feature junior
vandero and junior cassette hubs, laced to 1 1/8 Odyssey T1000
rims.

The
new "Messy Sweat" from Odyssey is awesome, with
a unique sleeve / body print on the front. These are available
in black only and come in Small, medium, and large.
These
are just some of the new products on the way and we will continue
to add more in the coming days.

What
a Weekend:
We finally got back from J-Bay / Port Elizabeth and what a
weekend it was! Unfortunately the weather was terrible but
that didn't seem to dampen the spirits of all the riders.
When the rain let up the riding was insane, and when it rained
good times were plentiful.

The
setup for the jam looked really fun but unfortunately it never
dried up for long enough to hold the event. Between the rain
some good sessions went down but unfortunately the rain just
wouldn't stop for very long.

The
day before the comp however was a beautifully one and was
spent at the trails. Here FBM team rider Brad Illingworth
lets a nothing fly at the Walker drive jumps.

Matt
McLeod is a local at Walker Drive and was killing the place.
Here he is with a one footed flip x-up over the last set.

Brad
Rowlett also made the trip to PE from Durban and was loving
the trails. Here he is with a smooth 360 X-up over the big
set.

The
Boundary Lane trails were also running super good and the
locals were shredding the place. Stuart was riding with amazing
style and had the place wired. Here he is with a big 360 table.
The rain started shortly after the trail session and didn't
stop for the next three days... Thanks again to everyone who
made it to the event and supported Roscoe's cause! We hope
to see you all again next year.
In
other news there are some awesome pics of Fly Bikes team rider
Buddy Chellan up on the Fly bikes web page. Head on over to
www.flybikesbmx.com
and check them out.

Event
News:
David
from Von Zipper sent us the flyer for Roscoe's Jam that is
happening later this month. This jam looks like it is going
to be a lot of fun and we are contributing some Odyssey products
towards the prizes. There are going to be park and dirt comps
so there should be something for everyone. If you are able
to make it to J-bay make sure you check this event out.

We
have also heard that the next Riot Jam is coming to Durban!
This is the first time that a Riot Jam will be held in Durban
so it should be really good. The event will be held at the
Durban beach park on the 24th of June, and there are plans
to introduce a number of new obstacles to the park for the
event as well. If you haven't been to a Riot Jam before then
you have to make an effort to get to this one. They are hands
down the best jams in SA and are a lot of fun. The event will
also be co sponsored by Odyssey, Fly bikes, and Federal Bikes.

these goods will be in stores by the end of the month.
The good news today is that Tyrone Bradley will make a full
recovery from his knee injury. The surgery went really well
and he should be back in the saddle in about 8 weeks time.
Tyrone said that all the cuts were pretty clean so they were
able to stitch the ligament and other bits back together quite
nicely. Three cheers for that!

Tyrone
Injured:
This
past weekend Federal team rider Tyrone Bradley took a nasty
bail while riding at the Rand Show. Tyrone has been up in
JHB doing daily demos at the show and on Saturday after the
show he was messing around on the course and crashed on a
180 over the box jump. His bike bounced up into him and the
back axle hit him in the knee, splitting his knee wide open!
Details are a little sketchy as to the exact condition of
his knee, but we are hoping that there is no permanent damage.
Tyrone had surgery on Monday and we should know exactly what
is wrong later this week.

In
other news Roscoe Siebers is having a benefit jam in J-Bay
this month. The jam is on the 19-21 May and should be a lot
of fun. There is going to be a park and dirt comp and the
event is sponsored by VonZipper, Kustom shoes, Odyssey, and
Billabong. Billabong are also rumored to be organising free
accommodation for everyone who attends so make sure you get
there. Have a look at the events page for more info.
