New
United and Federal goods:

Our
new shipment of United and Federal goods arrived today
and the new products are looking good! The new United
frames are here with some subtle changes being made
to the Squad and Trinity, and the brand new 40 frame
also arriving.

We
have Trinity frames in flat black, Squad frames in
satin raw, and 40 frames in translucent red.

All
the frames now have new CNC machined braces between
the stays and the attention to detail is amazing.
The satin raw and translucent red frames also do an
awesome job of showing of the neat welds on the frames.

The
40 frames also have additional features like built
in seat clamps and laser cut dropouts. This helps
keep the weight down and this frame tips the scales
at just over 4.8 pounds.

Other
new items include the new United sprocket, Mid BB's,
and the Value 8" bar. This is the most affordable
8" rise bar on the market and if you want a big
bar but are on a budget then you should check these
out.

The
United grips are also in stock. The repeat (mid size)
and Jive (thin size) grips are both made from a super
soft compound and are available in black or green.

The
new United seats and posts are also here. The Trinity
seat is a mid size seat suited to those who like to
pinch when doing tricks. It also only comes as a pivitol
seat. The Squad seat is a slim style seat that features
the regular rail setup.

Speaking
of seats the Federal seats are also here. these are
the slimmest and lightest pivitol seats on the market
and come in 4 colour ways. Black / Black, Black /
White, Gray / Black, and White / White. The seats
feature minimal foam covering and also have a hollow
seat bolt to shave off some extra grams. If you are
looking for a slim seat then this is definitely the
seat for you.

That's
it for today. Its the X games qualifier this weekend
at the Rand Show so we hope to see you all there!

Gate
Crash Tour & Brian Kachinsky:

Well
its finally time to let the cat out of the bag! We
hinted to you guys when we posted the news about the
Riot Jam but now its official. Gate Crash Tour will
be happening again in April and this time we have
an international Pro coming along for the ride. DK
team rider and street machine Brian Kachinsky will
be coming along and will be hitting up all the stops
with us. Just like the last GCT this is an open invitation
for every rider out there to meet up with us at each
of the designated stops and come ride with us. This
time the trip will be hitting up Durban, Richards
Bay, and Johannesburg. Check out the flyer above for
the daily schedule. Its going to be a good one!

As
always we will be printing up limited edition Gate
Crash Tour shirts that we will be throwing out at
each stop. We are only printing up 50 of these and
they go on a first come first serve basis, so if you
want one you need to make sure you come and meet up
with the guys at one of the stops. Last year the shirts
were hugely popular and we ran out of them at every
park. We will also have a bunch of other promo goods
courtesy of DK that we will be giving out as well.

So
if you guys are keen to come ride a bunch of spots
with the Empire, and Riot teams, as well as get to
meet BK himself, make sure you come along and ride
with us at all of the stops! This years tour is going
to the best one yet! If any of you have questions
or queries about the trip feel free to get in touch
with us via email or just give us a call. We will
keep you posted with other tour news in the next few
days.

March
Already:
We
are already heading into 2008 at a crazy rate and
the weeks are just flying by! The big news for this
month is that we are now distributing Alienation products
in SA! Alienation are making the rims that come on
almost all of the complete bikes out there, including
DK, Mongoose, We The People, Eastern, Hoffman Bikes,
Fit Bike Co, Verde, to name a few. They have a wide
range of rims ranging from entry level affordable
stuff all the way through to high end premium goods.

We
are going to be bringing in a range of the rims to
make sure there is something for everyone. Right now
there are only really cheap or really expensive rims
available in SA. With the new Alienation products
we will be able to fill the gap for all you riders
who don't want cheap stuff but cant quite afford the
most expensive items.

Look
for the new rims to be in your local stores by the
end of April.

In
other product news the guys at Animal are coming out
with tons of new goods in the near future. First up
are their new rubber bar ends. These are available
in all the colours to match the edwin grips, and should
be in stores soon!

Edwin
Grips are also now available in white!

And
finally the Animal rim is also almost ready for production.
this rim is designed specifically for breakless riders
but will also work with brakes. These are still a
little way off but the grips and bar ends will be
here soon.

FBM
just sent us a mail with all their new T shirt designs
and these things are DOPE! As you can see they have
been busy with this lot and the designs are looking
very good indeed. Look for these to be here in the
next few weeks.
On
the team front Buddy Chellan and Colin Loudon hooked
up with Greg Illingworth and Stu Loudon and went on
a road trip to Durban, Richards Bay, and Empangeni.
Lloyd went along with them and shot some photos of
the guys. Colin and Buddy say that the trip was a
lot of fun and the guys spent a lot of time riding
with the locals down there. A big thanks must go out
to Rico and the crew for hooking them up and showing
them around! Here are some pics from the trip.

Well
that's it for today. Check back for more news!
