Sheridan
Grobeler also sent us these pics of his buddy Blaze
Balentine shredding a little ditch. Sheridan and Blaze
both come from Cape Town and its good to see riders
getting it done all over SA!

new Animal goods have just landed and the products
are looking super good! We have a number of new items
in this lot as well as a restock on all the regular
items. If you are looking for any of these goods they

run down on what has come in.

black.
GLH and ASM tyres are
also back in stock.

burgundy as well as good old black.
The
new DVD's are also here. That's It is the new 50/50
video and the riding in this is nuts! the guys on
this team are all super good, and the video has a
good mix of street and dirt in it. Focalpoint is an
Australian video and is packed with all the new blood
from that side of the world. Tons of good riding from
down under in this one. Then we have the Prototype
DVD that features a lot of the NYC street riders and
has the plenty of good riding from those guys as we
have come to expect. Look for all of these to be in
stores in the next day or two.
We also have a bunch
of the new Animal team posters that we are sending
out to all our stores. If your local store stocks
Animal head past there and pick one of these up!
We
have been super busy over here at the warehouse. I
guess you could call it spring cleaning of sorts but
the warehouse is so busy at the moment. We have taken
over another floor in the building and stuff is getting
moved around which is keeping everyone busy. We also
have tons of new stock coming in this week so its
busy in general. The new Animal goods are at customs
right now so we are doing our best to have them in
stores by the coming weekend. We will keep you posted
on those goods as they arrive.
Colin
Loudons blunt interview has just hit the shelves and
it has turned out real good. His roof whip pic is
amazing! And why they didnt run it as a DPS is beyond
me. Make sure you pic up a copy of this issue! its
a good one. here are a few spreads form the article.
The
guys at blunt have also put together this little web
edit of Colin for their site which was edited by none
other then ex warehouse manager Jimmy Reynolds. Click
on the link below to check it out.
Fly
Bikes team rider Buddy Chellan has also been keeping
himself busy and has been hitting up some fresh spots
in Cape Town. Some of his buddies and him managed
to get into the harbor and found some good stuff to
ride in there. he has also been putting in some time
at his local spot "the Rondebosch bowl".
Here are some pics he sent through.
In product news DK have
just got their first prototype of their new Alpha

with the details.
Thats it for today. We
will post pics of the new products as soon as they
come in.
Nuno
from Odyssey was kind enough to send us a bunch of
the new ride USA mags that feature the Odyssey / FOX
tour we did last year. We have sent these out to some
of our stores so if your local bike shop was one of
them make sure you check it out. There are tons of
cool pics and Walter wrote a very interesting article.
Here are a few spreads from the feature.
The
new Animal bikes shipment is on its way. In there
we have a bunch of new stuff like Vinnie sprockets,
New Era caps, coloured Edwin grips, GLH / ASM tyres,
T-shirts, and well as some new DVD's. First up it
the new 50/50 DVD Thats it. This one features a bunch
of riders from Salt Lake city including Mike Aitken,
Matt Berringer, Shaun Walters, and many more. We also
have the new Focal Point DVD coming in which is an
Australian based video. The Skavenger DVD is coming,
and then finally we have the "Prototype"
DVD on the way which is a NYC based street video.
All of these products should be here in the next week
or two.
Well
we are back in the office after our new years break
and a whole lot has been going down over the last
few weeks. Team rider Brad Illingworth and his brother
Greg went on a crazy long road trip down the coast.
The spent a lot of time in Port Alfred, PE, J-Bay,
as well as Cape Town, and came back with some wild
stories and some dialed footage. While they were in
Cape Town they rode in the Summer X event. Buddy Chellan
was also there and they were all doing demos on the
dirt setup. Here are a few snaps that Brad took.
Matt
McLeod also sent us these pics. The first was taken
at the Boundary Lane trails (RIP), and the 2nd was
shot at Roscoe Siebers house.
Over
the holiday season Brent from Pro Rams has been hard
at work building us our new portable ramp, and we
should be receiving collection of this beauty today!
The ramp is exactly the same size and dimensions as
their demo rig, and is a 6 foot high, 6 sheets wide,
portable mini ramp. The whole things folds up onto
a trailer so you can expect to see this ramp doing
the rounds in the near future. We will have pics up
in the news as soon as we get a chance to build it
up and take some photos.
The
guys at the Riot have also been posting up some dope
bike checks on their site from their recent trip to
the X games in Dubai. They have already done some
great ones with Aaron Ross and Brian Kachinsky so
head on over there and check those out.
Speaking
of the Dubai crew... Our OG team rider Tyrone Bradley
had his birthday last week and is now rolling along
at the ripe old age of 27! While he may take his time
when doing things he certainly isn't slowing down
on the bike. He has a bunch of wild stuff planned
for his upcoming video part and we cant wait to see
him break loose in the name of good times. Congrats
Man!
In
international news Terry Adams is now riding for Odyssey.
Terry will be heading up Odysseys new line of flatland
goods so you can be sure some amazing stuff will come
from that. We will keep you posted will all the new
products and info as they become available.
That's
it for our first post of 2008! We hope all of you
had a good holiday season and check back for more
news and updates.
