New
News:
The
weeks just seem to be flying by and before you even
know it Feb is almost gone! This past week has been
super busy with us finalising some of our plans for
this year, and we have some big things planned for
08! We will fill you in on those details early next
week but lets just say its going to be good!
We
have also added another banner at the top of the news
which will link you to the We The People online complete
bike catalogue. These bikes are amazingly well specced
and should be hitting our shores in the near future.
Click on the link above and have a look at what they
have to offer.

In
other WTP news they have been doing plenty of updates
on their Videorama site. They have some awesome videos
up there from their team riders so click on the image
above and check it out. They are well worth a look!!!

The
guys at Sunday have also posted up some pics of the
new Ian Schwartz frames that are due for release in
April. Sunday are pushing the boundaries with all
the technology they are putting into their new line
of frames and the Ian frame is just the tip of the
ice burg! Visit www.sundaybikes.com
for more pics and info.

The
new Fly bikes headset is also on its way to us and
these are the new lower stack height versions. The
new headset (featured on the left) is now 5mm lower
then before allowing you to customise you stem height
even more then before. Look for these to be in stores
as early as March!
On
the team front a bunch of the guys have been keeping
busy. Stephen Savage gave us a call to say he has
been staying in Cape Town for the last few weeks and
is busy trying to get as much filming done as he can.
He also asked if he could have a new set of pegs so
you can expect him to be getting it done on the grind
sticks!
Colin
and Buddy Chellan are heading up to Richards bay with
Greg Illingworth this weekend to ride some new spots
and also get some filming done. Buddy's new bike is
also on its way to him so look out for a fresh bike
check soon!
Tyrone
Bradley has a new job as a photographer for one of
SA's leading car magazines, and has been spending
his days roaring around the countryside in extremely
powerful vehicles ranging from 6 series BMW's to Audi
S3's. We are jealous!

RAU
session:
This
past weekend a bunch of us headed to RAU (now called
UJ) for a street session and to film some last minute
clips of Colin for his part. This place is nuts with
endless stuff to ride all over the place. Between
this place and Wits there has to be some of the best
street riding spots ever. Anyway, Colin was firing
out the lines all over the place and was putting his
front peg to good use. Finally when it go too dark
to film Tyrone got out his camera and shot this pic
of Colin doing a gap to wall ride. thanks for the
pic Ty!

Tyrone
has also recently joined the brakeless crew, and sent
us a few snaps of how his bike is currently set up.
Here is what he had to say... "It was time for
a change. It wasn't a rash decision either. For some
time I had been riding with my finger off the lever
and just felt that it helped make simple tricks feel
way better and smoother. It's still new to me and
I'm adjusting but it's definitely something I wanna
try out for a while longer." Ty is also a big
fan of the "Rat Look" (google it if you
not in the know) and has used that inspiration on
his new paint scheme. Here are some pics.

We
will be updating his bike check in the next few days
so check back for that!

Team
and product update:
As
we mentioned late last week the new Fly goods are
here and here is a run down on some of the new goods
we have in stock. First up is the new Luna frame.
This is Dylan Smith's signature fame and is built
to handle all your park, street, and dirt needs. These
frames feature the removable brake mounds so that
you can run a super clean looking brakeless frame,
or put mounts on if you want to run brakes. This means
no more chopping of your frame! The frame also comes
equipped to run the new Ruben bash guard due out soon.

Next up is the new Campillo
frame. this is a super light team designed frame that
is intended for trails use, as well as light park
and street. The Campillo has a low stand over height
and features super slim dropouts.

We
also have stock of the popular Pantera and Tierra
frames as well. All these frames are available in
a full size curve so if you are looking for a new
frame make sure you check these out.

Fly's
lightest fork the Tierra fork is also back in stock.
These feature an integrated fork race to make installation
that much easier, as well as compact CNC's dropouts.

Another
new item are the new 8" rise luna bars. We have
these in flat black to match the flat black Luna frames.
Look for buddy Chellan to be riding his new flat black
Luna setup in the next week or so.

We
also have Ruben grips back in stock in all the colours,
including the new red ones.

To
go with the red grips we have the line of red components
as well. This includes Seats, bar ends, rims, and
pedals.

Along
with all these new items we also have the full range
of regulars like tyres, sprockets, brakes, BB's and
much more. All these new items will be in stores by
the weekend!
On
the team front a few of the guys are traveling around
getting some last minute footage for the video. Colin
Loudon is back in JHB riding and filming and last
night we all met up at Monte for a laid back session.
Speaking of Colin, Wayne Reiche sent through some
extra pics from Colin's interview in Blunt and they
are all crackers!!! Here they are.

Wayne also sent through
some pics of DK team rider Matt McLeod who was in
Cape Town this past weekend.

Finally
on the team front Sunday / Animal team rider Stephen
Savage is also down in Cape Town and stopped off at
West Coast BMX yesterday to hang out with James and
the crew. Here are a few snaps james sent to us of
Savage sessioning their ghetto sub box.

Well
that's pretty much it for today. We have some big
news for all of you tomorrow so make sure you check
back and see what that is!
