"new wave" frames and are available in 20.5

We
also have a bunch of Odyssey goods on the way and
these include 2 new limited colour linear cables.

are.
Our
first Coalition order is also on its way and this
includes the first batch of cassette hubs, front hubs,
seats, and seat posts. All of these new parts will
be available in either black or camo, so if you have
been waiting for these now is the time to get in touch
with your local bike store.

Empire
team rider and warehouse employee Jimmy Reynolds is
heading out on a trip to Mozambique today. Jimmy is
traveling up there as part of a Blunt road trip. The
trip involves BMX, skating, and surfing, with all
these guys heading up there to explore new spots.
Jimmy says he wants to film as much as he can for
the video while he is there, and make the most of
the fresh spots (if he can tear himself away from
the beach that is!). Blunt are documenting the whole
thing and it sounds like everyone os going to have
a good time.
Finally
we have ben informed that there will be NO
ENTRANCE FEE charged to people who are
riding at X-Fest. On the posters it says that the
entrance fee is R70 however this only applies to spectators.
If you plan on coming to ride you will not be charged
entry however you do need to pre register. If you
simply arrive on the day you will be considered a
spectator. To pre register please mail your full name

Friday
Update:
What
a hectic week it has been! We have been going flat
out since monday and finding time to update the news
has been few and far between. Anyway, here is some
fresh info for all of you.
Plans
for the tour are well under way and this is set to
be an amazing trip. X-fest will be the first stop
so we hope to see you all there. We have been getting
lots of calls from people asking if there will be
Am and Pro classes at the comp and the answer is this...
X-Fest is an AM ONLY event. The pros will be there
to hang out and ride with everyone, but the aim of
this festival is to give up and coming riders the
chance to ride with pros and generally show everyone
their skills. The event will be held as a jam session
so it will be very laid back and everyone can just
take it at their own pace. The best part of it is
that over the weekend the Pros are going to be watching
the Ams ride, and at the end of the weekend one lucky
rider is going to walk away with a years sponsorship
from Odyssey and The Riot BMX store! So for all you
riders who dream of being sponsored, this is your
chance to show everyone what you have got. All in
all its just going to be a really fun weekend of riding
bikes, watching bands, and hanging out with your friends...
sounds good to us!

We
also just received the new issue of blunt magazine
and there are some exciting Empire related features
in this issue. First up DK bicycles and Blunt have
teamed up with a great subscription offer. The first
50 subscribers will each receive a free DK T-shirt
and sticker pack with their years subscription! The
Stephen Savage promo video, as well as the Gate Crash
Tour video, are also now available for download to
your cell phone via Blunts mobile zine. Now you can
download the videos to your phone and watch then anywhere.
Make sure you pick up the new issue of blunt for more
info.
That's
it for today, have a good weekend!
